My favourite design prompt is when a friend requests or suggests something. This happened recently when my dear friend Suzanne said 'I'd love to see Grace Earrings in a watermelon design for Palestine'. I could instantly see them in my mind's eye and the next morning rushed to the workshop to make the first pair.
