Did you know that although we use Japanese beads at Beloved, beadwork in South Africa is often used making Czech seed beads, and has been for hundreds of years. Our large beaded map artwork was make using Czech beads. These lovely earrings, with their checkerboard pattern, are playfully named for this tradition.
